SWIMMING AT 9 VANCOUVER BEACHES

pexels-photo-1756086-1756086.jpg

We are a port city surrounded by ocean, so we are very lucky to have our pick of beautiful beaches to swim at. The City of Vancouver provides Lifeguards at these 9 beaches for a good part of the year. Whether you choose a vigorous cold water plunge for the exercise, a splash with the kids in the sea, or a game of volleyball in the hot sand there’s a beach for you. I chatted with a lady in Kits last year, towel in hand, who has lived there all her life. She’s 70 years old, and credits the ocean dip she has every day for her good health and beautiful complexion. Have a great time exploring a new beach in Vancouver.
